Decoiler Coil Cars & Upenders
COIL CARS
Coil Lift Cars assist in loading the coil onto the Decoiler Mandrel. The Coil Car receives power from the Decoiler Hydraulic Power Supply and operates from handheld push button controls. All units will have a 12” lift and a 2’ travel over the widest strip width.

COIL CAR / UPENDERS
90° positioning the coils in line with the Decoiler Mandrel. The skidded coil is loaded onto the Horizontal Platform which is then rotated vertically. The coil can then raise and lower and feed onto the Decoiler Mandrel like a standard Coil Car System. It is also powered from the Decoiler Hydraulic Power Supply with similar travel lift and controls as described under Coil Car.

Loaded Coil

The Combination Coil Car / Upender performs all your coil handling operations in one compact unit. It safely rotates loading it onto a horizontal Vee Deck. Once upright, remove the skid and the system operates as a Standard Coil Car. You can then raise or lower the Coil to center the coil core in line with the Decoiler Mandrel. The System will then laterally feed the coil onto the Decoiler Mandrel. By reversing the operation, you can remove the coils from the Decoiler and place back onto skids. The system can also be used independently as a Free Standing Coil Upender for other operations or lines. |

TRAVEL BASE DECOILER
The Travel Base option is for positioning the Decoiler laterally in line with the Coil Strip Feed. Primarily designed for a variable width application requiring a center line feed. This allows the operator to position the coil back flange in line with the ever changing Infeed Guides. The Decoiler is mounted on Track and Rollers with hydraulic positioning.
